Browser or other left-behind processes in TaskMan can certainly be due to viruses, but they can also simply be the remains of browser crashes. I get this periodically when I try to print certain web pages from IE or Opera.

A browser process running after a fresh Windows restart but before you've actually launched the browser yourself ... now that's *definitely* something to sweat over.
