kt: The article also explains why you may want to do this (or not).
I can't read the article because of some bizarro reason after about 10 seconds, the page displays some Twitter crap page???

I have never been interested in FB and became even less interested (if that's possible) when I received unsolicited emails from people I know who are on FB asking me to sign up and/or friend them--I really hate the trend of making nouns into verbs!

From what I can figure, there is some setting in their accounts that harvests from their email address books sending out (what I consider) spam emails soliciting for FB. I haven't gotten around to emailing my friends to suggest they find whatever the option is and either turn it off or somehow exclude me from FB trolling...

UGH!

Edit: I was finally able to read the article by hitting the Stop button--not sure why there is some sort of auto-redirect on the page--and now I have one more reason not to join FB...'-}}
