One thing that Snow Leopard does break is the Adobe PDF print queue. This is partly because of poor implementation by Adobe, and increased security from Apple.
With Acrobat 9.1, there is now a "Save As Adobe PDF" menu item in the PDF button of the print menu; but for batch processing, a PDF print queue is invaluable.

I have a work-around, in the form of some heavy Unix magic that saves a PS file to a scratch folder. Distiller then Watches that folder and makes PDFs as per.
