Nice touch though ... the Details view of the Fonts folder shows the font name, style, language it's designed for, Designer/foundry, embeddability and few more oddments.

And if you rightclick on one of the column headings, there are at least that many more bits of information you can choose to display.
It sounds as if the functions of the Font Properties Extension have been built into the fonts folder. The Font Properties Extension is one of the few things I miss now that I'm using a Mac.
