Default Adobe vulnerabilities (all platforms)

According to an article in today’s MacInTouch, vulnerabilities in three popular Adobe products — Adobe Reader 9, Acrobat 9, and Flash Player 9 and 10 — are actively being exploited. The problem affects users on Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.

Adobe is working on fixes, and expect to have updates by July 31.

In the meantime, it may help to disable the Flash plug-in (or use the NoScript extension in Mozilla Firefox or SeaMonkey). The article “Securing Your Web Browser” on the U.S.–CERT site offers details and more advice.
