Default Five 24-inch monitors

The June 2009 issue of MacWorld has a comparison/review of five 24-inch monitors:
  • Hewlett-Packard LP2475w (4.5 mice; $624)
  • LaCie 324 (4.5 mice; $999)
  • Apple LED Cinema Display 4 mice; $899)
  • Samsung SyncMaster 245T (4 mice; $699)
  • ViewSonic VX2433wm (3 mice; $299)

23 or 24?

Seeing the subject, I had a vision of a wall of monitors, you know, like a 180 degrees wrap-around monitor.

That would be kind of cool, if perhaps disorienting. I have seen two 30-inchers side by side (in a photo of Al Gore’s desk). But five? Yikes.

Thanks for that...it's nice to see reviews with info on how the monitors stack up when used for graphics apps and with info on calibration. I'm going to remember to check there before I buy a new monitor...
