Now you've got me wondering whether the sneel is a relative of the snipe.
I wonder if snipes have a pleasanter sneel than my flounder.

In any case, it was very pleasant indeed. We had a couple of other dishes at the same time and took home leftovers. The floundering sneel went home within us. Yum.
