Default hand-drawn newspaper page

The front page of yesterday’s issue of Louisville’s Courier-Journal was hand-drawn by Turkish artist Serkan Özkaya and a local arts organization. (The real front page was shown inside.)

Publisher Arnold Garson explained that the newspaper is “in the business of communication. This is just another way of doing that. I hope it’s exciting, surprising to our readers.”

More about Özkaya and the project, including a video and a small reproduction of the front page at the Courier-Journal web site.
