It's just the menu bar that is too wide, by about the amount the first menu item is offset from the left. There may be a clue there? Sorry I don't have time to play with it now.

Fab site BTW: I am trying not to spend the next hour or two exploring your wonderful recipes - need to sit on my hands I think!

(I did find the 'visited' state of the menu items hard to read - so little tonal contrast. Did you forget to set the visited colour to white? And in your "about" page, a couple of characters aren't rendering properly on my m/c in FF3. Probably em dashes, showing as — )
