Of course you are Steve; my mentioning somewhat obliquely is the result of my not being able to remember any program's name for more than about five minutes.

I did find AutoRuns very useful, though not because I was concerned about updaters (excellent things, if they work; I haven't got the computing experts' contempt for them), but because something that should be installed on starting up—Suitcase—has suddenly stopped being installed.
