If I click on the new member id, I always get a message telling me I don't have permission to access that file. What is going on?

I don't know for sure, but it might be because a new member shows up there before the registration is finalized. Or it might be a staff-only feature.

I suspect it is because silly vBulletin announces a new registrant as a member before he has been approved.

We have been getting many spammers lately; they do not get approved. So that notice is bogus. Do not know how to fix it.

If it hurts when you click that, don't click that.

Oh, it is because our hardworking staff is protecting us against spammers.

I like that.
