Which brings up the old issue -- is it inspired, if the grammar is not correct?

It seems the King James translators did not think so -- else why did they refuse to remove I John 5:7,8 as non-genuine, despite the lack of majority manuscript support?

Almost certainly not. I was named after Ann Milner, who married one of the Clarksons from Hull in the UK – the only bit of non-Celtic blood I have.

Interesting! While many young people here have never been taught how to use apostrophes, I believe that they are something some people just don't get, or forget the rules for, just as some of the rest of us forget bits of maths. One of the cleverest men I ever worked with, who was about my own age so would have been taught apostrophes, could never get them right. He was a brilliant accountant and well read...
