The home phone is a Phillips DECT6 model. I've got one of the units in my office 6 or 8 feet from a wireless router; I've never had it drop a call.

This particular phone has a singularly idiotic [I suppose they think it's a] feature ... it's got this red light that blinks incessantly once you've received a call (or maybe missed a call?). Whatever. It's more trouble to turn off than it's worth.

The same light COULD have been used to indicate a received voice mail message. But noooooooooo.

The business line has a VTech phone; much better gadget, IMO.
