Default Anyone else notice???

Did anyone happen to experience the oddity of google.com not being able to be resolved at about 4:15pm (eastern US) this afternoon???

It was very, very strange!

I was working and couldn't get a response and when I closed my browser and then reopened it and tried to access gmail, it didn't resolve and then google.com would not resolve either...

I actually did a cold boot thinking it was some oddity on my end but for about a half hour, no google, no gmail and my mail.com account which uses google-analytics was really slow--I think they must have it coded to wait for a valid response for a period of time and when that's not received, the mail software continues.

Given that I'm losing my Google job on 11/18 (Google only allows its temp/contract workers 2 years and then you can't work for them anymore...so much for "don't do evil"), I'm madly trying to work as many hours as I can before next tuesday so having google.com and gmail not resolve was anxiety inducing...

PS...the forum url wouldn't resolve during this time frame either...
