Some people go to the Internet to engage in conversation, listen to other people's point of view, and make up their own mind. What is more, they find they can do so with people from more diverse backgrounds than they would meet in Real Life, which gives them a better chance to listen to different points of view.

What's to stamp out?

And some go to hang out with people mostly like themselves, just as they do in real life. Seems silly and boring to some of us, comforting to others.

Nothing. I vote to stamp out stamp-outings of all types!

Here too. Many evade jury duty any way they can.

But I don’t think it has much or anything to do with the internet — it has been going on since before that became such a factor.

> So you're saying we should stamp out people who post bad videos, not videos in general? ;-)

Na. We should just hand them all 5D Mk IIs and tell them "leave this setting on full auto". I here the us.gov is handing out free cameras to any bank or spy agency who asks these days.
