Not long ago I had a problem with FireFox recognizing my master password, which also meant I could not remove it. I was out of luck if a password was needed on a web site, for which situations I had to go to another computer. Then, one day FF just recognized the master password when I tried again to remove it.
Then, the other day with another computer, on which I set the master password last April, FF would not recognize it. A day later, trying again to have it removed, FF recognized it. The master password seemed nice when I had it, but security that doesn't function correctly is worse than no security at all. George Last edited by George; 09-17-2008 at 10:42 AM.
