Default amazon dot com broken

For a week I've been having intermittent problems at Amazon with the following message: Http/1.1 Service Unavailable. I've had so much trouble I started ordering from other sites. Interestingly, Amazon has no contact link, which means none of their customers can tell them about this. I wonder if/when they will figure this out.

I have never had that experience, and I visit amazon.com at least twice a week for some reason or another.

They are certainly up right now (2:43 p.m. EDT).

With the clusters of servers that Amazon run you should never see anything like that. With their own server monitoring they will know if there is a problem.

Well there was - but it wasn't their own stuff - they were out for about half an hour because of some problem at AT&T - or so I heard.

I saw a stunning calculation of how much a minute downtime costs them, so I'm sure there will be a nice claim on AT&T's doormat now
