Unfortunately, yes. And you'd be held accountable for the cost of the emergency response. How life has changed.

I fear that if anyone ever did steal this particular laptop, they'd return it the next day, or through the after hours chute.

My sister lives in a desirable suburb in Brisbane, and was broken into once, having her watch and some other stuff taken.

The watch turned up in her letterbox a few days later...
