Default Dutch "snow" day ;)

After a few days with fierce winds again, the weather turned yesterday. First rain, then hail, then wet snow: the flakes did not even make it to the ground before they'd already melted. Then it must have cooled enough last night for a few flakes to actually make it all the way down - but there was so little of it that even a small tree was enough to stop them making it (warmer air around plants!) - I saw this curious result in our communal garden when I woke up this morning. Out in our street (with big trees) there was no snow to be seen at all.
