Default CHM Help Files in Arabic

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has worked much with Html Help Files. I'm working on a project right now where I'm translating some files into Arabic but I'm having problems getting the Index and Contents windows to show the Arabic characters. I've seen it done before but I cannot for the life of me figure out how it was done. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience in this area?

Thanks!

I can't help you with the answer but it might help others to know PC or Mac? Version of the OS.

For example I know that in VISTA you have to install a help dll from XP for VISTA to be able to display help files not created under VISTA where they have changed the Help system. You can download the file from Microsoft or copy it across from an XP installation. I think it goes in System32 but there's a Knowledge Base article on this on the Microsoft web site.

Does the Mac use CHM (Compiled HTML) help? I don't believe so.

The add'l file you have to install for Vista is to enable using the older HLP format Help files.
CHM should be supported w/o any extra fuss (else none of the Office help would work in Vista).

(Not that it works especially well even when it's working perfectly well.)
