I gather that they sell lots of things, including the clothing many people donate. They sell bundles to aggregators who take them to other countries and sell the clothes by the piece.

There is a big ethical debate about whether we do a good thing by donating to GoodWill (et al) — does it clothe the poor? or cause their own businesses to fail because the used clothing is cheaper than they can manufacture new ones?

I have another moral position, though: to get excess baggage out of my house. And I cannot bring myself to throw wearable clothing out. So there we are.

Had no idea they would take old computer books. In fact, I thought I saw a sign that said not even to try!
