Default Movie to jpeg?

I'd like to batch extract all frames and/or a range frames in the common types of movie files and save them as jpegs. Being able to control the level of compression in the jpegs would be a plus. Or, if the software can save to lossless format, that would work too.

Must be easy to use. Any suggestions?

I wonder if QuickTime Pro and it's Export to Image Sequence would do the job.

I don't think Quicktime reads wmv files.

Ah, didn't realize you were talking about WMV files. No, just tested it with my copy of QT Pro and it refused to open a WMV I threw at it.

Aaaaah! Just the thing I've been looking for for ages. Finally a way to extract images from my AVI files shot with Fuji FX30.
