If memory serves, it wasn't until later, 6 or 7, that Acrobat started getting fussy about sharing quality disk space with Reader. You'll probably be OK. And worst case, Acrobat 4's nowhere near the fussy install tha later versions are. If it all topples, you can uninstall both and reinstall Acrobat.
