I bought Serif PagePlus 5.0
I wonder that anyone should offer PagePlus 5 for money: I tried out PagePlus 8 about two years ago (it was available free from a magazine CD) to see what it was like. Soon afterwards, I bought PagePlus 11 (the then current version), which, unlike its predecessors, recognized Unicode characters that were inaccessible using ANSI keystrokes. PP 11 (& now, 12) is about as good as InDesign for text, though it doesn't give automatic selection of glyph variants, which is one of the big advantages of InDesign.
