Default 250,000,000 years?

"... Every passing hour brings the solar system 43,000 miles closer to Globular Cluster M13 in Hercules -- and still there are some misfits who insist that there is no such thing as progress. (Ransom K. Ferm)"

If I haven't slipped a decimal someplace, I calculate that we arrive at M13 in something like 250 million years. Something must be wrong with that, though, it doesn't seem to me to be long enough.
