About the Description and Keywords meta tags:

I know that Google typically uses the first couple of lines of text on a page as the page description in its database, so that's what shows when somebody get that page in a search result. This can be a problem when a page is built from a template where the first few lines of text are always the same. I remember reading somewhere that if a page has a Description tag, Google uses that tag text as the Description in its search results, not the page text. Is that correct?

In the Keywords meta tag: suppose you want to have a key phrase of two or more words -- for example, "science fiction" or "military tactics". Is it possible to write these phrases in such a way that the search engine records it as a phrase and not as two disconnected words?
