Default About Me

In the late 1980s I decided to get my head out of the clouds and my income out of the basement. I took the first promising opportunity I found, which was working as an Administrative Analyst for the local school district.

This job required a lot of flexibility. In any week my tasks might include analyzing legislation, building database applications, writing instruction manuals, creating financial reports, and securing funding for removal of hazardous materials. The job eventually expanded to include desktop publishing responsibilities, which placed me into the world of business graphics.

In the late 1990s I became interested in photo retouching as a hobby. The hobby expanded to other areas of graphics, which fed into what I was doing at work, and vice versa.

A few months ago, health problems forced me to retire early and greatly reduce all other activities. I try to keep up with desktop publishing, and I look forward to my health improving.
