judy: The driver makes no difference. You can't upgrade a USB 1.1 port to USB 2 through software or a driver. Whatever the hardware is is what you're stuck with.
Right...I knew that but it just suddenly occurred to me (I'm getting ready to install a USB2 card) that maybe my current ports were USB2 but I wasn't sure how to determine that...Cirquelle gave me the detail I needed...
