Does anyone know if there is a way to tell on a pc system whether the USB available is version1 or version2?
My six-year old PC has USB 1.10, which is not surprising. I know that, be cause I've looked at a program that tells you things about the gadgets on a computer (Sandra). I shouldn't think the driver date will be a help, because Microsoft has updated so many times in the past six years. It doesn't make any difference though whether you have USB or USB 2 (except that the former is slower), because USB 2 devices are backwards compatible.
