Default A small pocket of resistance

This job advertisement popped up in my e-mail an hour or so ago:

Hope it works for everybody here.

Good grief!

Very interesting, actually. So will you brush up on XPress and apply? <g>

Maybe I should. Then I could introduce the art director to the bloke who went postal when I mentioned Mac and InDesign in the one sentence. They could fight it out over XPress and DRAW.

Adobe Indesign skills NOT suitable. Should also have a mature outlook
Hard to believe that's all in one paragraph, let alone in such close juxtaposition.

I wouldn't work for anyone with that sort of chip on their shoulder.

I suppose I should flick through the paper for the print version and see what it looked like there.
But you're right. There's just a hint of bias. <g>

Wouldn't you know, finally a job I'm qualified for (except for the mature outlook), and it's on the other side of the world.

I'll apply for a visa tomorrow. <g>

Yeah, I think I'd be holding off on that visa. If I were going to travel that far I think I'd want a human being for a boss at the other end! It's a heckuva long way to come back if (when) things didn't work out. =:-o
