Default Quark and Windows Vista

I was told today that Quark doesn't run on Vista, but I can't find anything about it on the Quark site. Anybody here know?

Robin, it appears that Quark checks for specific versions of Windows at install, none of which is Vista. However, there seems to be a work around here

I installed Quark 5 (the full free edition off Computer Shopper) on to a new PC running Vista and it just installed. Is it because it was an older version of Quark?

Now I look at the link I found it refers to
QuarkXpress
and not Quark. Not being familiar with Quark software, are these different products?

Hello Jon, (hope the congestion charge isn't making your life a misery!)
Quark inc is the company, and QuarkXpress is its primary weapon.

I searched their site for Vista and just got their Quark Vista program, but a search for Windows Vista gave no results at all. Thanks for the tip: interesting that none of the correspondents are Quark staff (that tells a story, doesn't it?!)

We've only received three Quark jobs in the last 12 months: all the rest have been (in order of popularity, not quality) InDecided, Frustrator, Corel's Drawers, PageWrecker, TwoFingers.

Yabba dabba doo!

Hee-hee! Hello Bo, hope you're well: tell that wife of yours to watch her Ps and Qs (then you better duck and run out of the house quick!)

Hello Susie, TwoFingers = ThreeHands = FreeHand

She's in London tomorrow so I'll tell her to do just that and send her round to your establishment...
