Since you frequent the Linux Forum, I would assume your website is Apache-based and Kelvyn is on the mark about .htaccess files.
If your website is on an IIS-based server then you need to use a suitable "global.asa" file in the root directory. Servers other than Apache/IIS are beyond my ken. Note that protection is in the domain of the *server* (or server-side scripting), not HTML documents. |
