I recently did this for the first time for a client who wanted a (rather pixellated!) movie clip of skiing for their new web site. I uploaded the movie to YouTube and it was automatically converted to Flash for me after a few hours: you just need to copy the HTML they give you into the page to get it to show. There are controls to start and stop it: it doesn't play automatically.
