What is it that we're voting on? The "best" design? The most essential design of all time? Of the 20th or 21st century? I'm confused. This contest wasn't designed well.

Also, after browsing a few nominees I noticed that a lot of them don't have any kind of description or persuasion as to why we should vote for this particular item. Like the Target ClearRxSM prescription system. What's so great about it? Am I supposed to go research every item that is nominated and then decide? Or should it be obvious?

I have a feeling the winner is going to be something like the iMac or VW Beetle, something in the last 10 years that really made an impact on people's view of product design.
