BTW, what's with the avatar change? I liked the previous one much better, you looked much friendlier there.
Well we can take a vote if you like, see which pic of me you like best for the avatar

(and if that's not thread drift then I'm losing my touch)

I’m with Marjolein. No. 1 looks happier and more handsome.

Number 1. I would hardly know that Number 3 is the same person.

Oh, want an earlier one? These are mostly from back in 03 and 04 though there is one that was taken a bit earlier than the others.

Ian:

I must say that the centre picture appears more honest and is a fine photo of someone that has aged with dignity. But I'd recommend that you trimmed your beard with a No. 3 or 4 attachment.

Thank you, I appreciate that thought. That pic was taken in July for my employment ID for my current role of Supervising a District for the coming Australian Census - August 8.

Umm, nope, at least, not yet. The sole aim of the beard has been to wear my own beard when I do my Santa appearances this coming Christmas Season, it isn't too bad considering I only decided to stop shaving December 23 last year. I now doubt it will be good enough for this season, but might be ok for next season if I can stand having it for that long.
This is what I generally look like when working in the Season.
