Hi all -- I recently got back from a residency at the Bogliasco Foundation (on the Italian Riviera), and my friend Klaus saw the attached clock in a gift shop in the Genoa train station. Near as I can tell, the letters that substitute for numbers spell out "Time marches on" in Italian, and the choice of my own old shareware Eraser Dust (uploaded to the Classic Dtpforum about 14 years ago) for the letters is -- strange. I don't mind when South Park characters write on the blackboard with it, or even when the local grocery store uses it to point out their specials in the produce aisle but this -- oh, what has become of the land of Michelangelo and Leonardo?

Great to have you back. Nice place to be — the Italian Riviera. As for the design of the clock, well, great find. <g> __________________ :: |
