Default Copyright comic book

I found this comic book that attempts to explain the essentials of copyright to be a little simplistic, but it does cover the basics, and it is charming.

And I didn't know they were so interested in copyright in Peru!

Actually, given the "comic book" approach, I found it covers a lot more than I expected. Very good.

(I just wondered why I couldn't read it at all even ay 125%? Had to go beyond 200% to make it legible.)

I think it is basically a set of thumbnails; when you zoom, it looks right (for me) after about 6 upticks.

It is certainly crisp at that size, which it wouldn’t be if it had been created for a smaller viewing size.

Marjolein:

That allusion escapes me (except Brazil is noted for its nuts), but Peru is where the comic was designed and printed.

Brazil is not a signatory to the Berne convention - unless they have recently mended their ways. (There are a few other countries, but that's one that stuck in my memory.)

You're badly out of date: both Peru and Brazil are signatories of both Berne and the UCC, and have been since at least 1993 (when my reference book was published). Earlier, they probably adhered to the UCC only, like the USA, but I've no information on that point.

My comic appeared as a PDF, i.e. it could be sized.

Oh, well, they held out for so long, it stuck in my memory... Certainly looks to me like thy weren't interested - more like forced to get in line.

Sure - but like I said I had to scale up to over 200% to have it legible; I have my default set at 125% at wich size most PDFs are legible on my machine. Havnig to scale up more, let alone by this amount, is rare.
