Macintel is out! http://www.apple.com/ Now look at that screenshot on the iMac on the right .... could that be Aperture? I'll bet it is. ;-) __________________ Marjolein Katsma Look through my eyes on Cultural Surfaces (soon!), My ArtFlakes shop and Flickr.Occasionally I am also connecting online dots... and sometimes you can follow me on Marjolein's Travel Blog |

![]() So I wonder who among us here is going to be first to spring for this new thing? (Not me. I am still adjusting to OS X!) __________________ :: |

>> Love the "A whole lot more than it's ever done for the pc"
Very Apple. I dunno. It annoys me. They have some great products, why can't they market their own identity and strengths rather than continually comparing themselves to "those other guys"? If I were a shrink, I think I'd be mumbling things about "inferiority complex" and "PCness envy" .... __________________ Steve Rindsberg ==================== www.pptfaq.com www.pptools.com and stuff |

Years ago there was a car in my condo's parking lot with a vanity plate that I couldn't figure out and finally one day I saw the owner getting out of the car and asked her...the plate was NOPNSNV...I loved that she was able to get it past the state censors...'-}} Terrie |

And 'it' is twice as fast—that's twice as fast as previous Macs presumably, if this claim is anything to go by: Up to 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo processor __________________ Michael |

I have been shut out of so many sites in the past year: on-line shopping sites for clothing, household goods, and, most annoyingly, my prescription service. Like it or not, Mac users feel very stressed about the Intel/Windows monopoly. __________________ :: |

KT:
Mac users feel very stressed about the Intel/Windows monopoly As long as Apple Computers remains just another computer manufacturer, with quite a large share of the personal-computer market, you've no cause for complaint. If, as many Mac enthusiasts claim, and some users of other systems admit, the present Mac OS is better than Windows, Linux, or any other OS, then it should conquer the world—providing the world isn't forced to buy computers from Apple. __________________ Michael |
