A good way to see the difference is load the picture of the tree and river into the PS version. Try to get some kind painterly texture into the sky. Then open the same photo in the Pro version. Select the medium watercolor preset. Open the "Color Settings" panel, which is actually the Color Variation panel. Drop the Lightness half way. Reduce the brush size to fit the sky. Now stroke it. And see how it changes by adjusting Lightness and Saturation in the Color Variation panel.
