Default Dreamweaver settings

Anyone know what file stores site definitions? I have a recurring problem with Dreamweaver MX forgetting all of my site definitions and it's a major pain to recreate them, especially in version 6 where all the options are on separate dialogue boxes. (I hate "improvements" that are harder to use).

I had the same problem in MX 1 on 2 different PCs. <sigh> I'd like to make a copy of the .ini or whatever file saves the site info, but I don't know where it is...

Dennis

(PS; know I've been absent lately... elections are over Nov. 8 and I'll have more time after that. Have a little more time now... I fired one of my candidates on Tuesday night...)

Dennis, the definitions are stored in the registry. Just use Jörg Schmalenberger's backup program - MM-Exporter to keep all your definitions safe.

Kelvyn's advice is just what to follow on Dreamweaver site definitions. It works just fine for me.

Good for you in firing a candidate as a client. If only the voters would fire a few more incumbents!

Many thanks, Kelvyn. Installed and backup run.
