I think I have accommodated to some of the odder aspects of the interface, as I never even think of clicking on the Previous/Next thread buttons.

The only way I have worked out to manage the interface is to use the Get Posts dropdown, clicking first on New Posts (repeatedly) and working through those; and then clicking on 1 Day to see if I missed anything. Threads with unread messages should show up in bold. What complicates things is that there is a cookie that times out, so you can miss messages that way.

This situation will be eased somewhat once we have implemented a mod that posts messages to the writer rather than the thread.

We discussed thread order very early here, and I semi-remember that we actually preferred reverse order. Now I am not so sure, but Andrew will have to advise whether changing it is possible, easy, or a big mistake for some reason!

Very nice to see you here, Frank!
