Oh, no! I wondered if he had got lost in our moves, but even though we knew he had been ill, it never occurred to me that he could have taken a bad turn.

He had the capacity to make me mad sometimes, but I liked his politics, and he was not stupid. I will miss him. Have been missing him, in fact.

I am so sorry to hear it, Steve. I had no idea he was in such a state. Thank you for posting.

According to notes at the web site, the family is having financial difficulties because of his long illness. There is a link there if you want to contribute something.

I didn't see that. Guess I didn't read far enough. I'll go back & look.

Oh, what a bummer. I didn't know he had been so ill, although I had noticed not seeing him lately in the forums.

This is so sad.

Tooo very sad...I knew he'd not been well...

I was able to find a place to leave a condolence message see:
http://www.meteorologistlife.com/archives/2005/02/

"I am so very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. All of us on Compuserve's DTP forum extend our condolences. Jack will be greatly missed by all of us."

If you want to make a donation, you can do so (via paypal) from the above link.

This may be a better address, as it goes to Jack’s wife, Eva Whitley. The one you listed is for one of the children.
