Default Photoshop (Mac/Tiger) automation (free)

Ben Long, author of Complete Digital Photography, has been developing a bunch of Photoshop workflow automation plug-ins (Actions) using a new Applescripting tool in Tiger called Automator. Best of all, he is giving them away from his web site.

He began a few months ago, and keeps adding to the list. There are two sets, one for Photoshop CS, another for CS2.

Among the Automator Actions available right now are these, among many more — check the link for the complete list and information on how and whether or when to use them.

Arbitrary Rotate
Unsharp Mask
Gaussian Blur
De-Interlace
Desaturate
Despeckle
Save as TIFF
Do Action
Invert
Assign Color Profile
Resize Image
Unfilter
and more
