Default Solving color printer problems

Interesting article in the September 2005 MacWorld (just arrived today — will be posted online in a few weeks): “Solve Printer Problems” by Robert Ellis.

Discusses mechanical, paper, and software problems that can mess up digital prints. I found the discussions of paper and software problems most useful.

Probably pretty basic — but nice to see all in one place. Platform-agnostic, BTW.

Would you post again when the article is online? I'd love to read it...

Oy. I will do my best. Since I have the print article (and am likely to lose even that!!), I wonder if I am a reliable agent. But I’ll try.

I haven’t figured out how long they wait before posting online. It might be a matter of a week or two.

Terri,

Have a look here:
http://www.macworld.com/info/feeds/

They have RSS feeds you can subscribe to - very handy stuff.
If you have a recent copy of Opera (the browser) it handles RSS feeds simply but conveniently.

Okay — I give up. Where is the color printer story in there?

Am I being dim?

Kathleen
Do you think we are going over the top - with colour reproduction.
I am having a real row with an agency at the moment. One of my printers decided to match the actual phone on the leaflet ( which he had with him) !!!!!!! and did very well
The agency say its not matchi8ng the image they supplied!!!!!!
Peter
Haven't we got it all out of proportion

The story isn't there (not that I could find, anyhow) but Terri had asked you to let her know when it appears. By subscribing to the RSS feed, she could get notified when it does. Assuming they add that story to the feed. And then you wouldn't have to remember to let her know. See? I'm saving you work. I shall now bow and act humble in anticipation of the shower of applause and appreciation. ;-)
