Our local Dollar Tree stores have a very effective stylus for ..... $1 .... and it does wipes nicely too. It's triangular and pleasant to hold

Plus the end caps pull off giving you a USB normal to micro connector link unit (which probably provides enough to trigger the touch-screen.

I have a small smartphone with a 3.5in display and using things like the keyboard on it with my fingertip is frustrating but easy with the stylus.

It has a pocket clip so I can carry it in my shirt pocket and show I'm a geek.

Commercial Break

PS I never cease to be amazed at what I find at our local Dollar Tree, like the same Colgate toothpaste in the squeeze bottle for $1 which is $3.99 at Publix and at first I thought it would be old soon-expiring stock but when I checked it it was actually fresher than in Publix.

Same Scotties tissues that Dottie uses that are "on Sale" at Publix for $1.25 for box of 120 are $1 for box of 180 ......

End of Commercial Break

That could do it. But I just remembered something else that occurred to me earlier. Once the telephone usages is no longer a requirement of the smart phone, the size of the Galaxy S7 would probably not be an issue. Nor would the quickness with which I have to answer a phone call.

If you don't need the telephone at all and are happy with using the smartphone features only via WiFi (vs cellular data), an iPod Touch is essentially a phone-less iPhone.

Thanks, Steve. I'll look into that.

One thing this experience has done for me is I can now type in a phone number on my fax's touch screen without error. Before the smart phone experience I was unable to do this.
