Default Quick View Plus 2017

i won't be buying this new version of QVP. It no longer allows Windows Explorer to use it within the preview pane. This means it no longer works with any program that uses the same file viewing API (such as Directory Opus). Now, on their webpage it says it integrates with Windows Explorer, but I confirmed with their tech that this does not include the preview pane. And, you have to pay a yearly fee of $99 to use it.

Here are the features

Annual subscription for a file viewer? Ballsy of them. Especially considering that you can equip 5 PCs and what, ten mobile devices with MS Office for the same price.

I think they will find out they made a mistake. Either that or they know there customers better than I suspect.

BTW, I think QVP uses Oracle's Outside-In Viewer Technology, which is free.

I used to use a free version of that way way back and missed it when for some reason I had to stop. Certainly not my way to spend $99 a year!

Also, there is a free plugin called uLister that uses the Oracle viewer technology. I don't remember ever using it, but I have seen comments at the Total Commander forum from people who use it.
