As is your right in a free society.
In Russia, Comic Sans neither likes nor dislikes you, but it's watching what you do. __________________ Steve Rindsberg ==================== www.pptfaq.com www.pptools.com and stuff |

There is no argument to be made about the Oxford [sic] comma. Those who want to be unambiguously clear, use it. Those that missed sixth grade grammar class or are simply afraid of comma's, need only look to the decades of regular state and federal court cases where the courts have been asked "WTF did Congress (etc.) mean by this?" when some miserly unpaid intern neglected to use on.
There is no need for Oxford commas. Or capital letters. Or mixed case of any sort. Or gender-specific pronouns. Or hyphens. Personally I love reading about "cooperation", that obscure process of making barrel makers. Omitting a comma can save 1/10,000th of the ink used on a press for that page. Do that on every page, every day, and at the end of the year, you can probably get a free lunch. |
