That said, I have never tried to calibrate a laptop so I don't really know if there are tricks to getting the Spyder to do the job properly. As picky as I am with my own desktop monitor's color, I've always just lived with whatever color the laptop has but, I also don't do color critical work via laptop so there's never been a pressing need...
