Default Opera will be offering a free VPN

Just read about this over at dslreports and thought it was interesting.

While currently just available through their developer channel for testing, Opera is planning on integrating a free VPN within their browser:

"Until now, most VPN services and proxy servers have been limited and based on a paid subscription. With a free, unlimited, native VPN that just works out-of-the-box and doesn’t require any subscription, Opera wants to make VPNs available to everyone."

I've only tried Opera a couple of times and while I can't remember exactly why I didn't care for it--it's been a long time since I tried it--when Opera gets around to offering this to non-developers (i.e. the rest of us), I just might try it again...
