Default would you get a PCtheft recovery system

Several on the market, including Lojack. Any of you like any of these?

Given that I use a desktop system and rarely, if ever, use laptops, I've never investigated any theft/theft-recovery systems available. I suspect that the Lojack system is not the same sort that is used on cars--brings a rather odd image to mind...'-}}

What have you found in your research?

I found that it adds something that can be exploited by hackers. In theory, anyway.

One would hope that since that was written in 2009, that the issue has been fixed...scary though...
